چکیده

This paper presents 1μW curvature-corrected bandgap reference that is capable of operating with an input power supply range of 0.88-5.5V. A 0.3V precision voltage reference is implemented with 3-stage RNMC (Reversed Nested Miller Compensation) operational amplifier and a novel PTAT current source to compensate the thermal nonlinearity of the base-emitter voltage. An experimental prototype generates a line regulation performance of 20ppm/°C (a standard deviation of ±1.5mV before trimming) over an extended temperature range from -50 to 150°C.

DESIGN AND ANALYSIS OF SUB 1-V BANDGAP REFERENCE (BGR) VOLTAGE GENERATORS FOR PICOWATT LSI’s

A bandgap reference (BGR) and sub1V BGR circuits for Picowatt LSIs is proposed here. The circuits pertains pico-ampere current reference circuit, a bipolar transistor, and proportional-to-absolute-temperature (PTAT) voltage generators. The circuits neglect resistors and contain only MOSFETs and one bipolar transistor. As the sub-BGR circuit divides the output voltage of the bipolar transistor ...

A 0.0025mm2 bandgap voltage reference for 1.1V supply in standard 0.16μm CMOS

A sub-1V bandgap voltage reference (BGVR) in 0.16μm CMOS is presented that circumvents the trade-off between area and power consumption in conventional sub-1V BGVR topologies. This circuit can be used in systems to generate reference voltages locally, eliminating the conventional relatively large BGVR and its global reference voltage distribution interconnect. The active area is 0.0025mm; at 29...

A sub-1V 78-nA bandgap reference with curvature compensation

This paper presents a low power bandgap reference (BGR) with 573 mV average output voltage and 0.95-V minimum supply voltage. Here, the resistor ratio of two types of resistors that have opposite temperature coefficient (TC) realizes a second-order curvature compensation. In addition, to reduce the supply voltage we adopt a voltage divider, and we also employ proportional to absolute temperatur...

A Novel Sub-1 Volt Bandgap Reference with all CMOS

This paper deals with the design of novel sub-1-V bandgap reference circuit using only MOS transistors in 0.18 μm CMOS technology, for a supply voltage of 1.8V. The circuit produces a voltage reference of 466.5 mV at 27C with a temperature coefficient of 28.4 ppm/C in the range of -20 to +120C. The power supply rejection of circuit is -30 dB at 8 KHz and this rejection further increase to -50 d...
